All new accounts will be shipped COD or credit card until credit is processed and established, we accept all major credit cards. If payment is made by check, order will be processed after check is cleared.
All special custom made orders must be prepaid.
- An average of $1,500.00 minimum purchase is required to establish credit.
- All open accounts will be established with a maximum credit limit.
- All invoices will be net due 30 days from invoice.
- A service charge of 1.75% per month (21% annual) will be charged on all accounts over 30 days.
- A $30.00 service charge will be applied to any returned checks and account will lose its check payment privileges.
- Accounts over 60 days old will be placed on hold until account is within terms.
A $25.00 minimum purchase is required (excluding freight chargers), orders below this amount will be charged a fee to meet required minimum amount.
BACKORDERSAll hardware items not shipped will be in back order for 90 days. Backorders will be automatically cancelled after 90 days. NOTICE OF CANCELATION will not be sent. If you do not want backorders please state in your order.

CLAIMS- Claims for shortages and billing errors should be made to our office within 15 days from invoice date.
- Claims for loss in transit should be made directly to our office.
- Claims for damage in transit should be filled directly with the carrier. We are NOT responsible for damage in route caused by mishandling of packages.
- All returns require prior authorization from H&F sales representative.
- All items should be inspected upon receipt and claims should be made within 15 days of shipment day.
- A written explanation for the reason of the return must accompany the merchandise returned.
- Custom orders will be charged 30% restocking fee.
SADDLE TREE COMPONENT INFORMATION
BARSThere are four different styles of bars available.
- REGULAR: Designed with a double stirrup leather groove on the bottom of the bar.
- ARIZONA: A heavier bar recommended for steer roping and heavy usage. These bars are made with single stirrup leather groove on bottom of the bar giving extra strength, but still enabling the stirrup leather to fit well.
- ARAB-FLARE BARS: Any style of tree can be made with shorter bars to fit an Arabian.
- MULE-BARS: Bars designed to fit mules, can be order for any style tree.
GULLET WIDTHS & ANGLES
There are generally four different gullet widths to fit the withers and backs of different size horses.
- Semi-Quarter horse 6 1/2"
- Quarter Horse 6 3/4"
- Full Quarter Horse 7" and wider bottom bar spread.
There are many different types of cantles being used today, but the more common styles are:
- Regular Oval: The most widely used cantle today. It usually comes 3 1/2" high.
- Comfort: It's squared up on the corners with a slight dip in the center. It gives more support for the rider and is usually 3 1/2" high.
- Shovel: Was the style at the turn of the century. It comes with a straight or beveled edge, and is usually 4 to 6 inches high and no wider than 12 1/2" The dish in a cantle will vary in size from 0 to 2", increasing 1/2" between sizes.
The H&F saddle trees are constructed in one of the following quality forms:
- Wood with rawhide cover.
- Wood with fiberglass reinforcing and rawhide cover.
- Wood with heavy fiberglass.
- 70/30 wood and fiberglass construction, fiberglass encased.
- Wood with fiberglass cloth covered.

The H&F saddle tree or form carries an 8 year pro-rated warranty for materials and workmanship, if used for the purpose it was designed for.
